Each Thursday morning five members of St. Luke's Church lead assembly at St. John's Primary School as part of the Open Book Project.The project uses the Lion Storyteller Bible to tell a different chapter God's amazing story to children each week. The story begins with God's Creation and ends with Jesus returning to God after the resurrection.
Each week the team act out the stories with the help of children and staff. Assemblies end with a few minutes silence when the children are encouraged to think about something relating to the story and a closing prayer.
