St. John's C of E Primary School

St. John's Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School is within St. Luke's parish and contacts are strong. Some of the children at St. Luke's are pupils at the school and Revd. Robert Pestell is an ex-officio foundation member of the board of governors and is actively involved in taking assemblies. Two other members of the church are also foundation governors and play an active role as such.

Various members of the congregation go into the school to help the children with their reading as well as the Open Book project which brings Bible stories to life. For more information click here.
